Rainforest, windswept hillsides, rocky headlands with majestic hoop pines, sandy beaches and secluded coves make the inshore Molle Islands National Park a wildlife refuge and a scenic retreat for nature lovers.
The Paddle Bay track on South Molle Island is a great walk if you are after an easy afternoon stroll. The lush rainforest at the start of the track has a overstorey of eucalyptus which indicates that this was once an area of open forest. Further along the track there is a small opening of grassland.
The track winds down to a beach of coral fragments. Along the beach you can continue to the picnic area overlooking Daydream, Mid and North Molle Islands. Access from the beach to the point may be restricted during high tide.
