Long Island is one of the Whitsunday islands and lies close to the mainland just south of Shute Harbour. It is about 9km long and 2km wide at its widest points. Part of the island is National Park and there are a number of walks through the heavily wooded vegetation to surrounding secluded bays and headlands.
