Daintree Rainforest River Trains provide the most comprehensive wildlife boat cruise on the Daintree River, eco accredited, with the option of visiting a one of a kind private Mangrove and Rainforest boardwalk on the north side riverbank for a personalised guided tour, savoring refreshments of Daintree Rainforest Tea.

Many tour boats tend only to concentrate on crocodiles. The Rivertrain exclusively offers two wildlife guides every trip to maximise all wildlife spotting opportunities. Similarly, this unique floating train (boat really) is the only to offer onboard exhibits - Croc skull and teeth, mangrove seeds, Aboriginal artefacts, native palms, deadly Box Jellyfish, wildlife photo albums and more. Expect to learn about Mangrove Ecosystems, saltwater tidal zones, local history, Wet tropics, World Heritage Rainforest and most certainly crocodiles, birds, frogs, snakes, and bats.

M.V. Spirit of Daintree is the only large boat on the river that is designed and driven in such a way that wildlife is not disturbed, river bank is not eroded and vegetation left undisturbed, the result is demonstrable, accredited eco-tourism at it’s true best.
