Rotorua is located at the heart of the north island of New Zealand in the aptly named Bay of Plenty region. Transport to Rotorua is either by plane, train or road. Rotorua is something quite different, from the smell of sulphur in the air to the acrid smelling mud pools, to being one of the country’s prime trout fishing spots.
