Red Cow Farm is a unique coo-climate garden set on 2.5 hectares in the picturesque rural village of Sutton Forest. Approximately 1.5 hours from Sydney and Canberra, it is one of the leading gardens in the beautiful Southern Highlands region of New South Wales.
Red Cow Farm has 20 garden rooms - featuring an exuberant cottage garden, monastery garden, abbess's garden, a stunning collection of rare and unusual perennials, woodland, old fashioned roses and clematis, beech walk, lake, bog garden, orchard and kitchen garden.
Red Cow Farm is a garden of beauty and deception. The charming simplicity of its presentation to the world hides a garden of sophisticated structure and ambitious schemes.
When you visit Red Cow Farm you will want to take a little piece of this heaven with you. The owners, Ali and Wayne have a fine selection of rare self propagated plants for sale, which you may not find in your local nursery. Also on sale are postcards with beautiful vistas of the garden, plaques and statues as represented in the garden.
No rest rooms or cafe are available on site but are located nearby at the Exeter General Store or Sutton Forest Pub. No animals permitted and children to be supervised by adults. Groups are welcome and lecture tours can be arranged with the owner and landscape gardener, Ali Mentesh by appointment.
