Located at the rear of a 19th century French Provincial-style building in the centre of town, The Grand Bar and Brasserie of Bowral invites you to experience its culinary delights, comfortable bar, professional service and genial atmosphere.
The building, which formerly housed The Grand Hotel, was redeveloped in the late 1980s and now houses one of the Southern Highlands’ leading restaurants, together with an upmarket bar, a cocktail lounge/function room, hairdressers and bustling shops including one of New South Wales best patisseries and a great coffee shop/cafe.
The cuisine offered at the brasserie is best described as Modern Australian. The brasserie has a seasonal a la carte menu, as well as a daily blackboard, featuring new flavours and fresh seafood. A light breakfast and lunch menu is also offered for those in a hurry or with small appetites.
Meals may also be taken at the bar, where additional snacks are on offer or at the new, licensed al fresco dining area which serves meals all day on weekends.
The establishment, which is fully air-conditioned and has reasonable restrictions on dress, trades until late each night. Choose from seven beers on tap, a wide range of imported and local bottled beers, spirits, cocktails and wines.
When you are in Bowral, be sure to visit The Grand Bar and Brasserie!
