Encompassing superb headlands and steep rainforest-clad slopes sweeping down to secluded beaches, Broken Head Nature Reserve is a fascinating place to explore and a peaceful spot to relax. Here you have 75 hectares of sub-tropical rainforest sweeping down to secluded beaches. You'll also experience a wealth of bird life in the reserve, both sea birds and rainforest dwellers.
The area is popular for fishing – in season you may catch bream, mulloway, tailor and a variety of rock fish. Camping is not permitted but is available at the nearby caravan park.
Explore the beautiful scenery of Broken Head by following the signposted walking tracks from Seven Mile Beach through the rainforest and from Broken Head Caravan Park to Kings Beach, which follows a dramatic cliff top track.
