“Well, I have been with Stella Hospitality Group for 4 years now & I am enjoying it thoroughly. I first started out as a relief receptionist and soon landed a full-time reception role, I was then promoted to Front Office Manager. I was then given a chance to take on a role as a General Manager at one our smaller properties. So here I am 4 years on, and what can I say but I love my job! I will admit it does get demanding at times, as with any job, but I wouldn’t change it. “My journey with Stella started in October 05 as a Reservations Consultant, from there I joined the Sales Team. Realising Resort Operations was my main interest I then experienced the role of Executive Assistant for Mantra & BreakFree. My interest grew when a new property was opening and I was excited to be part of opening a new property.
My experiences over the past 2.5 years at Stella have been challenging but at the same time rewarding and I am excited to see, as my interest & knowledge grows, just where this could take me within the Stella Hospitality Group”.
“I commenced with Stella in 2006 as the Corporate Receptionist with only very basic computer skills. Stella kindly put me through my Business Certificate 3 which I successfully completed. After a few months I felt it was time to further my career and luckily working for a company like Stella I was able to progress within the company. My next role was an Owner Relations Coordinator, the opportunity then came up for me to become part of a new department called Project Operations.
I never would have thought starting out as the Corporate Receptionist that I would have learnt and progressed as much as I have. I’ve been with the group for almost a year now. My days are spent meeting with very relaxed individuals around the lagoon pool.
